Following Governor Andy Beshear’s executive order to close in-person services as a way to help protect Kentuckians and state employees from COVID-19, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife has temporarily canceled its group hunter education courses, including live fire range days.

To accommodate those who still need their hunter education certificate before hunting in Kentucky, the department has made it possible to earn the Hunter Education certification by taking the “classroom” portion online here, and submitting a video of the “range” portion. Please review the instructions posted here: https://fw.ky.gov/Education/Pages/Hunter-Education.aspx
